Am I Eligible to Take the PdM-T Exam?

To sit for the exam, you must meet the following PdM-T requirements:

  • Have a secondary degree, such as a high school diploma, GED (general educational development), or global equivalent

  • Have at least 24 hours of project management education completed before the exam (Completion of the Humber College PdM-T Bootcamp fulfills this requirement)

How Much Does the PdM-T Micro-credential Exam Cost?

There is a $150 fee to take the exam covering 2 attempts. However, if you register for Humber's PdM-T Micro-credential Bootcamp your exam fee is covered in the tuition. 

How long does it take to become a product manager?

Our three product manager certification bootcamps take anywhere from 4 weeks to 11 weeks. After you complete each bootcamp, you have 90 days and two attempts to pass the test. The test must be completed in one hour. 

Certification is not required to get a job as a product manager, but certain employers ask for the PdM certification as part of a position's qualifications.

The time it takes to become a product manager varies. Some product managers start at the entry-level, while other employers are looking for product managers with previous experience. Like any job, the time it takes to become employed as a scrum master is highly variable.
